 Guitars CAN be dropped off for service anytime the shop is open. 

He performs complex work on stringed instruments that "Either have frets, or should have frets" 

 So if it uses horse hair or anything like that....

Set ups, Electronics, structural repair, light finishing work (IN house) Fret work. Shielding, head stock repairs. Pretty much everything but refinishing your guitar. We can do that, but at another shop.

A word about set ups--- Justin isn't a quick lube shop. He outperforms and out works the standard service you can EXPECT to get at the "Big Box Stores"

 That and he'll let you annoy him for up to a month tweaking it to make you happy after you pick it up!

 ---- Hey lets face it... Guitars players don't know what they want. They stumble upon it... Part of the art I believe. 

Basic repairs:

• Re-string guitar and tune $10 (strings not included)

• Truss rod adjustment $10

• Tuner replacement set of 6, direct drop in, no modification: $25 (plus cost of strings)

• Tuner replacement, set of 6, w/drilling and/or modification needed: starting at $35, usually no more then $55

• Hipshot D-tuner installation: $20

Set ups:

• Acoustic guitar: $35

• Gibson Tune-O-Matic or similar bridge: $45.00

• Fender Tele style (fixed bridge, individual saddles): $50

• Fender Strat style (tremolo bridge, individual saddles): $55

• Floyd Rose, Kahler, or similar locking tremolo bridges: $65

• 4-string bass: $40 + $5 for each additional string (add $5 for fret-less basses)

• Add $10 for non-exposed truss rods (vintage style Fenders)

• Add $20 for 12-string guitars

• Add $10 for dual truss rod instruments

• *These set ups are not your typical music store set ups! All set ups include re-stringing, truss rod adjustment for correct neck relief, string height adjustment at the bridge, fingerboard cleaning and conditioning, check on nut slots for proper depth, intonation adjusted, electronics checked and cleaned if needed, pick up heights balanced for even response, frets checked for proper seating in slots and height, and cleaning & polish. Additionally, the instrument gets a good once-over for other miscellaneous needs. Every set up is tailored to the individual player and is guaranteed for 30 days from completion.

Nut and Saddle replacement:

• Standard plastic nut replacement from pre-slotted blank: $45

• Earvana Nut Installation: $45 + $30 for Earvan Nut blank
  

• Custom cut nut from bone, graphite, Tusq, brass, or other material: $55 + price of nut blank

• 12-string guitar nut: custom fabrication only: $100 plus nut material

• re-cut slots on current nut: $5 per slot

• Saddle replacement: $35 plus saddle material blank (add $20 for compensated saddle)

• Bridge/saddle modification (lowering acoustic guitar action, or shimming saddle) starting at $20, usually maxing out at around $80

Electronics:

• Cavity shielding: $40-$75 plus shielding material (if you play a strat, this is worth every penny!)

• Diagnose electrical problem (problems not immediately diagnosable with free estimate, ie: wiring problems, grounding issues, etc) starting at $40

• Pick up replacement: Direct drop in $35 for 1st pick up, $15 for each additional.

•  Repair Disconnected Jack or other internal component $15

• Replace potentiometer (pot) $20 for 1 + $10 for each additional pot replaced at same time + cost of pot(s)

• Replace output jack: $25 plus cost of jack

• Install push/pull pot $35

• Install mini switch $25, extra if drilling or wood removal is needed

• Install/Replace 3 or 5-way switch: $30 (rotary switches add $10-$25)

• Custom wiring: starting at $60

• Pre-amp installation (bass): starting at $30, visual estimate usually required

*F-hole/semi-hollow body instruments and body or pick-up modifications are subject to an additional charge

 Fretwork*:

• Fret Dress (file, re-crown, and polish frets) starting at $100* (see below for details)

• Full refret on unfinished fingerboard (rosewood, ebony, or similar) $225 (acoustic guitars + $25)

• Full refret on unfinished fingerboard with binding (rosewood, ebony, or similar)  $275 (acoustics +$25)

• Partial refret: $100 + $15 for each fret replaced

• Fretted to fret less conversion: $150 (+ $80 for fingerboards with binding)

• Full refret on maple board: visual estimate required
